Scott Caulfield *Movement Specialist

Scott has been involved in fitness for more than two decades as a participant, manager and coach. Scott holds a bachelors degree in Physical Education from Castleton State College (VT), and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with Distinction through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Scott is the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Vermont’s 1st professional basketball team, the Vermont Frost Heaves, ABA Champions 2007-2008. He is a frequent guest speaker at the University of Vermont annual Strength and Conditioning clinic. Scott spends his free time reading and writing articles about strength training and competes in local and regional Strongman Competitions. He has also served as treasurer and a member of the VT Governor’s council on Physical Fitness and Sports.

Bonnie McDonald *Movement Specialist

Bonnie holds a Masters Degree from Dartmouth College and she is a Personal Trainer through CHEK. Bonnie has completed Level Three of the highly accredited CHEK program, earning her rapid ascension with over 300 hours of study in this field. In her 17 years in the fitness industry, Bonnie has constantly worked hard to be at the forefront of new exercise trends, most recently lending her insight and professionalism to Gary Gray’s Chain Reaction Seminar. Bonnie is a true professional in every way.

Scott Stone *Movement Specialist

Scott is a NASM Certified Performance Enhancement Specialist. He holds a BS in Exercise Science, Health and Fitness from Keene State College. For 13 years, Scott devoted his time to working in a sports and spine clinic that specializes in occupational and biomechanical injuries resulting from abnormal stresses on the body. Scott works well with athletes of all ages to ensure that they regain function after injury. Scott addresses the needs of each of his clients; he shows them ways to prevent future injury as well as to recover effectively from past injuries. Scott’s ability to reach common ground with his clients is due to his own athletic pursuits: since 1994, Scott has demonstrated his own endurance and commitment to a healthy lifestyle by completing over thirty marathons, including ten consecutive Boston Marathon finishes.

Ben Dearman *Movement Specialist

Ben holds a BS in Exercise Science from Bloomsburg Univ., a USAW Sports Performance Certification as well as a CSCS through the NSCA. His previous job was with the 75th Ranger Regiment, 3rd Battalion as their Head Strength Coach as well as heading up their Combatives Program through the Modern Army Combatives Program. While at Fort Benning he also was instrumental in the development and instruction of various physical screening and conditioning programs for Navy SEAL Teams stationed at Norfolk Naval Base. Ben’s background in Applied Functional Science and cutting edge Strength and Conditioning practices gives him a “unique blend” to his training style. He is constantly striving to blend the world of “3D Mostability” with the world of Sagittal “Big Weights” Power Lifting. To date his best RAW totals are a 450 squat, 330 bench and a 515 dead lift.

Katherin Albright *Movemement Specialist

Kerri Sherk*Movement Specialist

Kerri Sherk is a registered dietitian who has been practicing for the last 10 years at the Fitness Firm, the health club in Burlington she co-owns with her husband. Kerri is also a licensed Personal Trainer as well as a Nutrition and Wellness Certification Pro Trainer for CanFitPro. Kerri’s primary area of nutrition consulting is weight loss and family meal planning. With each of her clients, she shares her motto that it takes a little patience, persistence and consistency to reach one’s goals but with these, health and wellbeing are enjoyed over a lifetime. Kerri is a dedicated mother of four children ages 6, 4, 2 and 8 months. Kerri enjoys wearing the many hats that she does as this allows her to have balance in her life, but she admits that motherhood is the most challenging, and yet rewarding, of all her roles.

Jeff Babister * Movement Specialist

 

Jeff Babister is the Fitness Consultant with Atlantis Athletics.  In this role, he is responsible for the fitness consultations and is part of the personal training team for Atlantis Athletics members.

Jeff comes to our facility with a background in endurance competitions and many team sporting events.  He has completed 3 Ironman triathlons, 2 Long-Distance Triathlon World Championships, has played in the Fastball World Championships and is also involved in volleyball, curling and golf.

 With certifications as a Personal Trainer Specialist and a Movement Training Specialist, Jeff has solidified his considerable athletic background with the core training principles that are required in his role as the Fitness Consultant.

Sean Walpole is a CPTN Certified Personal Trainer, as well as holding Coaching Certifications with both Rugby Canada and Football Canada. His spare time is devoted to playing for his local rugby club, as well as Arena Football in the winter. Sean is a Senior Business Consultant with The Edge Fitness Business Consulting.
