George Abele was a three year starting middle linebacker for the Mount Ida Mustangs. He set numerous records for the Mustangs on the gridiron like being ranked third for all time tackles. He was also ranked in Division III for the most tackles in a game and most solo tackles throughout the season. His senior year he interned as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Northeastern University for the Mens and Womens Hockey Team. On his down time George was working with various sports teams at Northeastern also helping injured athletes with their rehabilitation programs. George graduated with a Bachelors Science degree in Sports Management as well as Health and Wellness. In 2008 George was drafted by the USA Football Team and was then drafted to the European Football League. George now plays for an AAA Semi-Pro Football Team on the North Shore.
